Are Electric Vehicles a Solution to our Environmental Challenges?

Are Electric Vehicles a Solution to our Environmental Challenges?

There are many thoughts in my mind about this topic. My thoughts on electric vehicles (EVs) are imperfect and they are continually developing, but the energy behind them is constant. I believe we can and should strive be better with our technology.
I caution the widespread application and growth of EVs. I do not believe switching from internal combustion engines (ICE) to battery powered electric vehicles is an innovative, and effective use of our valuable natural resources. I have many thoughts on this topic so I thought to let a few of them...

Yawning Torment - a one night rollercoaster of my mind

Sunday, March 27, 2022

Such a perfect entanglement of sacred sexual energy. In our embrace, shared orgasmic energy, cultivating my vision of a shared expression my dreams for the collective to express in this life impeccably. So close to sleeping in this perfect energy, yet we pull away to wash before we sleep. Retuning to bed yawing, so tired, so ready for sleep to whisk me away.
Yet. When I am horizontal, despite our resumed embrace, my mind torments me.
Tonight, it began with a thought of a sailboat. A seed I planted in my mind a few weeks ago which I have allowed...

Tutu-Tuesday 22.02.2022

All welcome to 22Tuesday’s Tutu-Tuesday ski party!
This is an invitation for All: True Locals, our recent additions, and our guests in town visiting, to go out and ski! It has been an interesting two years, to say the least. We have a wonderful opportunity to start this 22Tuesday to shift our collective energy and experience, to strengthen our connections as a community.
I invite you to ski our perfect mountain, Vail, in a Tutu and share the joy of skiing, to welcome the new snow, and share your stoke. We are moving into the time of Pisces,...

Does Vail Invest in Dangerous Skiing?

Does Vail Invest in Dangerous Skiing?

The billboards across Vail marketing the upcoming installation of another 6-pack chairlift at Chair 7 have been triggering a thought I can’t get out of my head:
Increasing uphill capacity by 50%, also increases downhill volume by 50%. This is beyond our mountain’s safe carrying capacity.
More people going down per hour doesn’t just mean the mountain gets skied out quicker, it means skiers have less space to experience the mountain. Less space increases the risk of collisions. Combine this with factors such as high speeds from over grooming,...

May we (royally) accept this energy... I

A Call to Accept the Impact of the Energetic Magnitude of our Economy on our Collective Consciousness
There is something fascinating about our current expression of economy. This overall has to do with the scale - the magnitudes in which we are operating. Presently, we have very little connection to this energetic magnitude. Foundationally, our economy is a representation of the energetic intensity of our human expression. We have, as human, devised a system which aims to facilitate a connection to our energetic magnitude - monetary expression....

Vail is Investing in the Wrong Direction

Vail is Investing in the Wrong Direction

The proposed new Sun Down Chair is in the wrong direction! It won’t solve the problem it is intended to address and will ruin the Back Bowls’ well-known sanctuary. The epic lift line that occurs at Chair 5 in the first hour of a powder day never fails to go viral. The non-skier’s solution to save face is to add another lift to get more people out of the bowl to prevent the viral photo.
Vail Resorts seems to make decisions with marketing material in mind, not skier experience. Can you blame them? These execs look at spreadsheets trying to squeeze...

Vail Valley – Consider our Bodies’ Intelligence

Wednesday, December 15, 2021

Our culture is excellent at ignoring symptoms of sickness. We don’t want to feel the pain and suffering of sickness; we ignore and resist. When we ignore our symptoms, what happens?
Symptoms are warning signs. Signals that something is off. It is our bodies’ intelligence communicating to us that we, our life energy system, are not fully healthy. That we are experiencing stress. When we resist, we allow for our health to degrade, gradually eroding the whole intelligence of our being.
First, consider our individual human body. For many of us,...

Gnarlos – Behind the Name

Le mono.
The idea behind Gnarlos – that our expression of human can evolve in this lifetime to be a connection described by most as a pipedream - has been in constant evolution. It is fueled by each lived experience, each moment, each learning experience. It is driven by the soul felt belief that our relationships as consciousness, as life expressed as human have an intelligence far greater than any one individual can be thinking. That we have yet to scratch the surface of our potential, of the ecstasy we can experience as physical beings.
There...

An Exhausted Expression of My Hope

Monday, November 1, 2021

“I’m so tired of politics at this point. I would rather build a new system than be a part of these systems.” Today is election day in the United States. I have not yet voted. Nor do I know if I will vote. I have a privilege, however, that I am still registered as an overseas voter. My official residency is in Finland and Colorado allows online voting for overseas voters. I have such an ability, but do I have such a feeling that my vote will move my community in a desirable direction?
This present system of politics cannot understand me. I do not...

Scandinavia Soul Skiing

Scandinavia Soul Skiing

Hemavan, Sweden. A ski community I hadn’t heard of prior to my arrival to Europe now holds some of my dearest memories of my experience studying abroad. My first visit to the ski village cozily nestled in the Swedish Scandes marked more than my first time skiing in Scandinavia. It was the first time I would get to see my brother and best friend since I left the States – a reunion I desperately welcomed coming out of the dark depths of a Nordic winter.
The small turbo prop plane lunged down to begin its decent. As I felt my stomach rise, twinkling...
